AI Engineer (Agentic AI / MLOps) (A949) - BA - hybrid; office 1:4 remote

We are looking for a hands-on and curious AI Engineer to join our team at the intersection of AI development and operations.
In this role, you’ll connect the worlds of AI, Data Science, and Operations, design agentic AI solutions, and ensure they are stable, scalable, and reliable in production – all on top of the Azure AI platform.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Design and develop LLM applications and agentic AI solutions (e.g. chatbots, AI assistants, automation)
Build AI solution architecture and integrate into insurance processes (claims, underwriting, customer service)
Deploy and operate AI services in Azure (MLOps, CI/CD, monitoring)
Implement Agentic OPS / LLM OPS processes – versioning, retraining, metrics, stability
Collaborate with Data Science and OPS teams to move prototypes into production
Ensure all solutions follow security, compliance, and governance standards
Explore and adopt new technologies in the area of Agentic AI

What experience should you have:

Proven experience in AI/ML solution development (LLMs, NLP, chatbots, agents)
Knowledge of Azure AI stack – Azure OpenAI Service, Cognitive Services, Azure ML
Experience with frameworks such as Semantic Kernel or Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Background in software engineering – ideally Java (our core stack), or Python
Experience with MLOps practices – CI/CD, monitoring, observability, retraining
Familiarity with AI governance, security, and compliance principles
Eagerness to learn, innovate, and connect business needs with technical delivery
