AP Accountant

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and standards in the context of Group accounting
  • Performing and monitoring bank statement reconciliations to ensure correct postings and transactions
  • Reviewing, classifying and recording vendor data and invoices and ensuring the timely and correct posting of all business transactions
  • Recording and allocating expense accounts and cost centers as well as managing and tracking purchase orders
  • Regularly maintaining and updating vendor master data and financial information
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding invoices, payment status and requests as well as clarifying and processing queries and complaints
  • Support and co-design of projects for process optimization and implementation of agile working methods

What experience should you have:

  • Proven accounting experience, preferably in Accounts Payable
  • Proficient in data entry with strong numerical skills
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Knowledge of SAP, ideally also with Open Text
  • Sound user knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook and MS Teams
  • Very good language skills in English, German and further language skills are an advantage
