Application Support Specialist

With us you will be responsible for:

  •Support for 3rd party applications (installation, configuration, automation, performance tuning)

  •OAS (Oracle Application Server)

  •JVM based apps

  •Other apps (e.g. RabbitMQ, Consul, Hashicorp Vault, CMDB tool, …)

  •Troubleshooting problems related to the installation and proposing improvements

  •Configuration of internal and external environments

  •Improvements in internal deployment tools for 3rd party applications.

  •Proactive communication with customers

We expect you to have:

  •Knowledge of configuration management principles and remote deployment

  •Experience in Windows server administration

  •Experience with web servers (e.g. IIS, Nginx, Apache)

  •Experience with application load balancing / clustering

  •Organization skills to fulfil requested tasks and responsibilities

  •Good communication skills in English – written and spoken

  •Secondary school leaving certificate or university degree

Advantage:

  •Knowledge of GIT or Azure DevOps

  •Experience with Linux administration is welcomed

  •Experience with SQL (MariaDB, MSSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch) is welcomed
