Asistent v Salesu a Logistice

We are looking for a Sales – Backoffice Clerk to join the growing team of our client, a part of DB Schenker, in Prague 8. 

In this role, you will be responsible for managing rail transport projects, conducting market analysis, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive customer care.

What will be your key responsibilities:

As a Sales – Backoffice Clerk, you will oversee rail transport projects, negotiate contracts, and represent the company to Czech customers and colleagues in Germany and Austria.

  • Conduct market analysis and segmentation
  • Perform marketing research to identify opportunities
  • Prepare product and service price calculations, understanding pricing principles
  • Analyze the profitability of individual projects
  • Establish and maintain contact with customers, providing proactive customer support
  • Provide sales support to the team
  • Maintain records and business documentation
  • Offer informational feedback to suppliers and customers
  • Manage assigned projects efficiently
  • Report to the Business Director and executives

What experience should you have:

  • Czech Speaker with active knowledge of German (B2) or English (B2)
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience
  • Orientation and knowledge in logistics (railway experience is an advantage)
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for results
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong motivation to achieve business goals
  • Willingness to travel and work in an international environment
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Driver's license (Group B) and active driving ability

While occasional travel may be required, a company car is available when necessary. 

The starting salary for the trial period is approximately 40,000 – 45,000 CZK, with a 10% increase upon successful completion of the trial period.
