As Internal Controls Lead Auditor, you will be responsible for steering, conducting, reporting and quality assurance of international audits of financial reporting controls. You will develop methods and tools for end-to-end audits with the aim of checking whether local controls cover the relevant financial reporting risks and are compliant with the Group-wide design standards. You will ensure the success of the audits by coordinating the identification and follow-up of recommendations for action and ensuring effective communication and collaboration with the interface partners. You will plan and manage the group-wide, cross-company clustering of internal controls, provide methodological guidance for the development of best practice control sets and create a multi-year audit program. You coordinate and manage the further development of audit instruments, tool support, reporting and audit processes and standards. You will develop strategies to take account of current accounting and auditing trends in your area of activity.
Other responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for carrying out complex risk analyses of ICS-relevant processes and systems with a focus on financial reporting as well as overarching coordination with interface partners to identify accounting risks and define key controls
- You will be responsible for optimizing the quality and efficiency of communication in the ICS process in collaboration with top management and the corporate bodies involved
- You will manage the implementation of ICS process and digitalization initiatives of the ICS Group for the segment under your responsibility and take into account current legal and regulatory framework conditions as well as current trends (external studies/benchmarks)
- You will be responsible for preparing strategic decision papers for top management
- You will be responsible for setting up and further developing the internal ICS reporting system
- You will manage strategic projects
The salary for this position is from 2500 EUR gross. The published salary is the minimum possible offer.
The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).
