Backend Developer (A770)

Our partner is a company established in 2016, specializing in the development of hospital software solutions. They currently collaborate with 20 hospitals in France, and their development team is based in Slovakia. Their mission is to improve healthcare processes and support medical research, ultimately enhancing healthcare and the health of entire populations. To strengthen their team, they are looking for an experienced software engineer.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Develop hospital software and related modules.
  • Work independently, analyzing requirements, and proactively addressing challenges by proposing solutions.
  • Build new projects from scratch or expand existing ones while adhering to established principles.
  • Collaborate on the development of complex web applications, not just static sites.
  • Focus on backend development of a platform that supports doctors in their daily work, improving hospital processes and facilitating medical research.
  • Apply and advocate for development best practices and coding standards.
  • Showcase proficiency in design patterns and promote the reuse of existing project patterns.
  • Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to uphold code quality.

Tech stack: 

  • React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, RESTful API, Javascript, Typescript, Material-UI, Jira, Gitlab

What experience should you have:

Must-haves:

  • Senior-level experience with web application development.
  • Strong knowledge of Node.js, Javascript, and related technologies.
  • Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and take initiative.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Availability to start as soon as possible.

Good-to-haves:

  • Demonstrated expertise as a Technical Lead or in a comparable role, preferably within healthcare projects.
  • Proficient business analytics skills, capable of aligning technical solutions with business requirements.
  • Comprehensive understanding of development best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
