Business Development Manager

What will be your key responsibilities:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join us on an exciting project in the UK.

What we need from a Business Development Manager

  • Business Development Manager should posses proven track record in the following: 
  • Client Relationship Building - cultivate relationships with all parties involved in the project and other industry stakeholders 
  • Lead identification - identify potential opportunities through research, own network and market analysis 
  • Proposal Development - create compelling proposals and bids for construction projects, showcasing the company's expertise and capabilities; also collaborate with technicals teams to ensure accurate project details and cost estimations
  • Partnership & Collaboration - foster collaborative relationships to enhance project capabilities 
  • Negotiations & Contracts - lead negotiations with potential clients, ensuring contracts are favourable and aligned with company goals
  • Sales Strategy Execution - implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve project targets

The core qualities of Business Development 

  • Deep understanding of construction industry in the UK 
  • Strong networking skills 
  • Proficiency in sales strategies, lead generation and deal closings
  • Ability analyse data, metrics and performance indicators
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills  
  • Basic Project Management skills are valuable
