Business Development Partner

GoodCall is looking for a Business Development Partner - someone with proven experience in sales or commercial roles - to join forces with our Chief Growth Officer and help us grow our client base in recruitment services, including market-leading RPO, executive search, and permanent hiring solutions.

What will be your key responsibilities:

This is relationship-driven, hands-on commercial role. You’ll work closely with one of the most connected people in the Czech HR and business scene - attending meetings, events, and joining conversations with senior leaders in major companies. Your goal will be to build strong relationships, drive commercial conversations, and most importantly, convert opportunities into signed deals.

We’re not looking for a cold caller. We’re looking for someone who’s naturally commercially minded, knows how to build rapport, identify opportunities, leading contract negotiations, and driving deals across the finish line. You’ll play a key role in building new partnerships, especially across the Czech business scene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend business meetings and networking events (both independently and with the CGO)
  • Lead discovery meetings and introductory calls with prospective clients
  • Take ownership of proposal creation and customization based on client needs
  • Support or lead contract discussions and pricing negotiations
  • Build and nurture relationships with HR and business leaders
  • Manage opportunities from first conversation through to closing the deal
  • Maintain regular contact with former, current, and warm leads
  • Represent GoodCall at relevant industry events and conferences (especially Czech-language events)
  • Act as a commercial partner and point of support in day-to-day business development activities


What experience should you have:

  •  3–7 years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally in services, consulting, recruitment, or SaaS
  • Proven track record o managing the full sales cycle - from first contact to signed contract - ideally in services, consulting, or recruitment
  • Natural relationship builder who knows how to turn them into business
  • Native/fluent Czech is critical, as is being a confident communicator in English
  • Professional and natural in senior-level conversations
  • Commercially minded and confident in deal-making
  • Structured, proactive, and hands-on
  • Enjoys events, networking, and relationship-building
  • Bonus if you have a background in recruitment or HR services
