C++ Developer | SW for HW | Brno

Technologies we use at RoboAuto:

• Primarily C++ 20/23, with a bit of Bash and Python.
• Libraries: Boost, Qt, OpenCV, Eigen, Botan, etc.
• We work with Linux and Docker, and use Portainer, Conan, Git, CMake, CI, GitLab, and Google Tests.

You’ll start by working on our in-house development projects and gradually find the areas that best match your interests and strengths. At Roboauto, we work across the entire technology stack – from sensors, embedded systems, and drivers through algorithms and computer vision all the way to AI.

In practice, you might:

• develop and deploy software on hardware that actually moves,
• process sensor data and develop algorithms for obstacle detection and collision avoidance systems,
• work on computer vision and other technologies that help machines perceive their surroundings,
• contribute to remote and autonomous vehicle control,
• work on streaming and network communication.

You won’t just write code. You’ll get to see what your software actually does in the real world.

• You have at least 3 years of hands-on commercial experience with C++17 or newer and Python.
• You’re comfortable working with Linux and Git.
• You can navigate a complex technical environment and learn quickly.
• You take ownership of your work and see things through to completion.
• You work independently while being able to collaborate with others to find the best solution.
• You’re comfortable communicating in English, and Czech or Slovak is your native language.
