Junior Category Manager executes, together with the team (senior buyers, brand manager and graphic designers), a private label strategy in given categories (based on overall company commercial and private label strategy) and executes it fully. In this role you are responsible for product developments under private labels whilst focusing on customer needs, ingredients, packaging, logistics, etc. Your main aim is to develop the products with the highest penetration in the given category.
Therefore, you will, together with the senior buyer, cooperate with the European suppliers ensuring we are price/quality competitive to supermarkets as well as the discounters. Close collaboration with the local teams is essential (e.g. buying department, supply chain, marketing department) to ensure your products are successful and available across all markets.
