Category Procurement Manager MRO & FM, AFEMEA

As a Category Procurement Manager you will have following scope:

• MRO Category: Standard Spares, Nonstandard & OEM spares, repairs, industrial gases, warehouse equipment, lab equipment and supplies, tooling (except print forms).
• FM Category: Cleaning, guarding, catering, landscaping, pest control, statutory checks, utilities and building maintenance, production assets maintenance.
• Geographical Reach: Primarily Europe (47 sites / 15 countries) with oversight of locally managed spend for sites outside Europe.
• Financials: Annual spend of €182m.
• Process: Bundling spend to preferred suppliers, re-tendering, and integration with major players to support deep transformation waves.
• Direct Reports: 1 Buyer MRO, 1 Buyer FM, and 1 Analyst.

• Spearhead transformation initiatives focused on Outsourcing, Centralisation, and Digitalisation, propelling procurement strategies to new heights.
• Lead complex tender processes, contract negotiations, and project success through meticulous planning and strategic oversight.
• Cultivate strong supplier partnerships and robust relationships to ensure an effective supply chain.
• Collaborate extensively with Procurement Operations and internal stakeholders to align and elevate procurement practices.
• Identify and drive improvements that result in sustainable financial gains, consistent with strategic objectives.
• Oversee budget development and implement strategies to meet ambitious performance targets.
• Deliver sustainable business results, including financial savings (EBIT impact), supply assurance, quality, service, and innovation.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a mature procurement environment, with a track record of category transformation across multiple international sites.
• Expertise in FM/MRO procurement, leading initiatives that have reshaped category management.
• Demonstrated experience leading multi-site transformations and obtaining key stakeholder buy-in.
• A university degree and relevant procurement certifications are preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with strong leadership, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Fluency in English is essential. Another European language is an advantage.
