What will be your key responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a commercially focused Corporate Lawyer who will support the company’s daily operations and long-term business development across domestic and international markets. The role offers close cooperation with senior management and multiple internal departments within a manufacturing and business-driven environment.
What you will be responsible for:
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of legal documents, including commercial agreements, supplier and customer contracts, employment-related documentation, and partnership arrangements.
• Providing legal advice to management and internal departments on corporate, commercial, and operational matters to support effective business decision-making.
• Supporting corporate governance activities and maintaining internal company documentation, including resolutions, internal policies, and corporate records.
• Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments relevant to company operations and ensuring stakeholders remain informed about potential impacts.
• Supporting protection and administration of intellectual property rights and assisting with registration and maintenance of IP assets when required.
• Cooperating with external law firms and advisors in Slovakia and abroad, including coordination of legal proceedings and obtaining specialist legal opinions when necessary.
• Assisting with domestic and cross-border transactions, business projects, and contractual negotiations with international partners.
• Providing legal support to departments such as production, procurement, sales, and finance, helping ensure compliance with applicable regulations and contractual obligations.
• Identifying legal risks connected to business activities and supporting implementation of practical solutions to minimise exposure.
What experience should you have:
Candidate Profile & Requirements
• University degree in Law.
•Strong knowledge of commercial law and corporate legal frameworks, including a solid understanding of local Slovak legislation.
• Solid understanding of international conventions and treaties such as the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and other relevant international legal instruments.
• Knowledge of public and private international law principles and their application within business operations.
• Familiarity with national legislative frameworks and their interaction with cross-border legal regulations.
• Fluent English with advanced legal terminology proficiency (minimum B2–C1 level).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in international negotiations, preparation of multilingual legal documentation, or work within multinational or manufacturing companies represents a strong advantage.
• Business-oriented mindset with the ability to translate legal requirements into practical operational solutions.
