Data Architect

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and evolving a modern, secure, and scalable data platform that supports multiple business domains and enables effective data utilization across the organization.

You will take ownership of the overall data architecture, including its roadmap, governance, and cost efficiency. A key part of your work will be defining architectural standards, setting up processes, and ensuring alignment across data, IT, and business teams.

You will actively contribute to the modernization of the data landscape, including integration of new technologies, migration from legacy systems, and optimization of existing solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams (Data Engineering, BI, IT, and business stakeholders) will be essential.

Additionally, you will act as a subject matter expert and mentor within the team, supporting best practices in data architecture and governance, while continuously identifying opportunities for innovation in cloud and big data technologies.

• Proven experience in data architecture design and governance (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, integrations)
• Strong knowledge of data platforms and tools (e.g. Azure Data Platform, Informatica, SAP BW, Snowflake, etc.)
• Experience with data modeling, data standards, and data quality management
• Background in integration systems and ETL processes
• Understanding of cloud environments and modern data architectures (including microservices or event-driven architectures)
• Ability to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems
• Experience with documentation and architectural design artifacts
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence is an advantage
• Czech (or Slovak) and English – both required
