Data Engineer

Our partner is an innovative quantitative asset management company, operating since 2007 and employing 600+ professionals in 17 countries worldwide. This is a private institutional investment management complex consisting of an international team of researchers, traders and technologists who constantly work toward even greater quantification and automation in the development of its trading processes.

We are now seeking a creative and technology-oriented Data Engineer with strong programming skills and problem-solving abilities.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Your tasks will include:

  • Developing efficient algorithms and micro services in Python 
  • Building optimized data processing pipelines
  • Perform data cleansing and transformation 
  • Monitoring and maintaining the performance of web services and databases
  • Enhancing the company's data

What experience should you have:

What You will need to fill the position:

  • A master's degree in a technical field 
  • 3+ years of experience in the world of data
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
  • Deep knowledge of Python, SQL and Kubernetes
  • Scripting proficiency in a UNIX environment
  • Confident English skills, both written and verbal
