Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Handle the development process of a data science product (data gathering, EDA, POC, MVP, production-grade product).
• Build solutions based on business needs – many of our models are not only ML-based, but also include complex business logic.
• Translate business needs into practical data science questions.
• Propose development plans of machine learning projects.
• Review pull requests according to software development standards.
• Maintain current ML solutions, as well as potential adjustments.
• Stay on top of technical advancements in the ML field, with dedicated company time to enhance your skills.

Ideal qualifications:

• At least 2/4 (Medior/Senior) years of experience in a similar position.
• Deep knowledge of the Machine Learning process, including productionalization.
• Excellent understanding of Python, including good coding practices (PEP8).
• Ability and willingness to work closely in a small team of 3-5 people.
• Very strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in Microsoft cloud services (Databricks, Azure, MLflow).
• Czech or Slovak language at least B2.
