DevOps Engineer

We are seeking someone DevOps Engineer who is not only technically skilled, but is also passionate about pushing boundaries, moving quickly, and delivering impactful results. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, always be willing to challenge the status quo, and think big like an owner. If you’re excited to tackle new challenges every day, you might be the perfect fit for us!

What will be your key responsibilities:

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with teams on designing and managing secure and scalable system architectures.

  • Monitor systems, proactively identify potential issues, and resolve them before they impact users.

  • Deploy apps and infrastructure in GCP.

  • Maintain and improve CI/CD processes, ensuring they are both efficient and secure.

  • Ensure the security and stability of all systems, integrating security best practices into everything you do.

  • Manage and maintain tools for team collaboration, keeping security and efficiency in mind.

What experience should you have:

What We Expect:
  • Experience in working with Kubernetes or similar platforms.

  • Experience or strong interest in working with cloud platforms and CI/CD (Gitlab).

  • A strong ability to learn new technologies and methods, and apply them with a security-first mindset.

  • The ability to think holistically, understanding the connections between various components of the system, with a focus on both security and efficiency.

  • Knowledge of networking and system administration (Linux and/or Windows).

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for automation, scalability, security implications, and opportunities for improvement.

Bonus Points For:
  • Experience with cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure).

  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).

  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).

  • Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis).

  • Experience with something from this stack: Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Mongo.

  • Bonus points for anyone brave enough to tackle Windows Server or SQL from time to time. Some of your teammates might see it like handling a nuclear device or visiting the dentist – not exactly their favorite thing, but when you step up, it makes the team’s life easier!

What do you get in return:

What We Offer:
  • An opportunity to learn new things and grow in a technology-driven environment, where you can make a direct impact.

  • Flexible working hours and the option to work partly remotely. But we also have a cool office in Karlín.

  • A friendly team and support for your personal and professional growth.

  • Perks like Multisport and even Rohlík Premium membership? Of course, we’ve got you covered!
