Enterprise Rationalization Architect with background in Data

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architecture professional to lead our Enterprise Application Rationalization Program and support our Enterprise Data Governance and Architecture operations. 

This role requires close collaboration with central and regional teams to optimize the application landscape, create and implement robust governance frameworks, and align data architecture with strategic business goals. The role focuses on both individual contribution and cross-functional collaboration. It involves overseeing global data integrations, coordinating stakeholders to ensure seamless data exchange, optimizing system efficiency, and compliance aligned with our overall data strategy and architecture in line with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Data & Information Architecture

• Oversee end-to-end data integrations and issue resolution for global processes.
• Coordinate stakeholders and service providers to ensure seamless data exchange.
• Assess and optimize system integrations for compliance, efficiency, and reusability.

Application Rationalization

• Lead the Enterprise Application Rationalization Program across central and regional applications.
• Identify redundancies and inefficiencies, developing a strategic roadmap for consolidation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize applications based on business value and technical fit.
• Operate in an Azure environment with a custom Enterprise Service Bus and Data Flow Engine.
• Implement portfolio management tools for better transparency and decision-making.

Data Governance & Architecture

• Establish an Enterprise Data Governance framework with policies for ownership and access control.
• Develop scalable and secure Enterprise Data Architecture aligned with business goals.
• Maintain a data catalog for metadata management and lineage tracking.
• Drive data quality, compliance, and usability initiatives (GDPR, CCPA).

Strategic Leadership

• Advise senior leadership on optimizing technology and data assets.
• Align IT strategy with application portfolio and data governance initiatives.
• Advocate for change management and stakeholder engagement.

Tools & Technologies

• Utilize application portfolio and data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation).
• Work with data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, Enterprise Architect) and Azure cloud.
• Stay updated on trends in enterprise architecture and rationalization.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, PMP, DAMA-CDMP, Azure Certified Solutions Architect).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, enterprise architecture, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of leadership or senior-level experience in application rationalization, data governance, or enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise initiatives, knowledge of Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Exceptional ability to engage and influence stakeholders across central and regional teams.
