Environmental Controller (Carbon Footprint Calculation)
What will be your key responsibilities:
Carbon Footprint Calculation & Analysis: Assess Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 Greenhouse Gas emissions using industry standards and analyze data on energy consumption and fuel use.
Sustainability Reporting & Compliance: Prepare carbon accounting reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with sustainability frameworks (e.g., CDP, TCFD) and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Compliance & Strategy: Stay informed on carbon taxes, emission reporting, and environmental regulations while developing strategies for carbon reduction and energy efficiency.
Carbon Credits & Offsetting: Manage carbon offset projects and recommend carbon credit purchases to meet carbon neutrality or net-zero goals.
Collaboration & Sustainability Initiatives: Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability practices and track initiatives like energy efficiency and waste reduction.
What experience should you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
3-5 years experience in sustainability or carbon accounting
Familiarity with Greenhouse Gas Protocol, sustainability frameworks (e.g., CDP, TCFD), and regulatory frameworks related to Greenhouse Gas emissions and carbon taxes
Ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders and manage projects to completion
Strong MS Office skills and fluency in English
