External Customer Management Lead

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Head of Group External Customer Management to lead the department in Kosice/Bratislava. This role involves steering and developing the department, managing critical projects, and building customer relationships. The position includes also functional steering of dedicated team collaborating with the IT department to enhance and manage solutions while driving new business development.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Job content:
• Responsible for delivery of service/solutions to clients in agreed quality and quantity structure according to agreed contracts and internal KPI
• Functionally lead a dedicated part of team, collaborating with the IT department to enhance and manage software solutions while driving new business development.
• Managing complex, strategically aligned projects or managing subprojects as part of strategic programs
• Managing critical situations across department and solve escalations to provide seamless service to the clients
• Managing and driving cooperations within External Customer Unit (Germany and Slovakia) and active involvement within the projects in responsibility.
• Creates clear structure, interfaces and responsibilities within the team and ensures efficient communication within the team and outside
• Main point of contact for business matters of national and international customers in his responsibility
• Develop and build customer relationships and take responsibility for understanding client requirements
• Hire, lead and manage the team leads of respective department and be the first point of contact for respective teams and outside
• Support the team spirit, drive and support the culture of continuous improvement within department as well as development of knowledge and skills
• Contribute to financial transparency of organization and budget responsibility in department
• Any other tasks assigned by the functional superior.


What experience should you have:

• Leadership experience in managing large teams and projects
• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Economy
• Several years of corporate experience across different departments and segments
• English (fluent); Slovak (fluent); German (fluent - beneficial)
• MS Office – advanced
• Experience with SAP /Modules MM/FI beneficial
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills
• Negotiation skills and decision-making skills
• Exceptional communication skills, strong ability to work as part of a team, negotiation skills and decision-making skills
• Build working and management relationships based on trust
• Good understanding of costs
• A high degree of personal integrity and exemplary behavior in line with the Guiding Principles/Code of Conduct
• The ability and commitment to recognize/foster high-potential employees
• Extensive knowledge of processes and procedures in Finance incl. understanding of digitization utilities/trends
