General Ledger Expert / Junior with Macedonian - Brno

As a member of the General Ledger team, you will be mainly responsible for closing related activities in the area of GL including HR accounting, revenue, and intercompany accounting. You can expect the following interesting challenges.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Perform closing preparation, accrual process, and intercompany process
Responsibility for the balance sheet and the profit and loss account reconciliation
Record HR accounting topics and other provisions in the accounting system
Post late entries in accordance with company guidelines in an accounting system
Generate statement of equity and report on changes in provisions
Perform controls for the internal control system to ensure compliance and correctness of the General Ledger
Assist the auditors with their queries
Day-to-day interaction with a respective internal customer

What experience should you have:

Fluency in English and Croatian/Macedonian language
At least a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or other relevant studies is a plus
General ledger accounting experience or a few years of experience in AP / AR
Local GAAP knowledge and IFRS knowledge is a plus
Knowledge of accounting software (SAP preferred), proficiency in MS Excel
Detail-oriented and self-organized personality
Customer-friendly communication skills and problem-solving skills
You should be a team player - although you will work on your own tasks, we act as one team and help each other
Enthusiasm for working in an international environment and occasional traveling within Europe
