Group Finance Business Partner (Topline controller)

This role will require you to be extremely hands-on, organised, able to cope under pressure and have a passion for Finance in a fast-growing start-up environment. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the finance, commercial and marketing teams within the company and provide analysis and support for financial and business-related decision-making.

You will support the strategic financial planning including periodic forecasts, performance reviews, and annual budgeting in Marketing and Commercial departments. As part of Topline Controlling you will provide financial analysis and insight identifying risks and opportunities ahead of time to drive business results and support decision making for our commercial and marketing strategy.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Support fulfilling our vision and strategy through thorough financial analysis and regular reporting of commercial and marketing forecasts and results across multiple countries

  • Create financial models to identify quantifiable risks & opportunities (financial and executional), get insights and track growth plans of our marketing/commercial strategy

  • Ownership of methodology behind financial metrics and processes related to commercial and marketing

  • Support the business planning and performance review process by providing accurate financial data, financial and performance insight

  • Provide clear, well presented management information with actionable insights integrating financial and topline metrics leading to decision making

  • Support the development of robust business cases to ensure best return on investment and management of our spend

  • Deliver specific projects providing financial expertise

  • Review monthly management accounts and provide commentary / insight to assist in management decision making

  • Perform regular scenario and "what if" analysis

What experience should you have:

  • Strong in building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels

  • Financial modelling, scenario planning skills

  • Business case development

  • Entrepreneurially minded and an innovative approach to problem solving

  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • You think strategically plus enjoy working in an innovative and ever-changing environment

  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills

  • Team player and good communication skills

  • Fluency in English a must
