Group Head of Procurement

The Group Head of Procurement plays a mission-critical role in shaping Rohlik Group’s non-grocery sourcing & procurement landscape across all countries and functions. This role owns the Group-wide sourcing & procurement strategy for Real Estate, Last Mile, Automation, Hardware, Software Commodities, and other business-critical non-grocery categories. You will also lead the Capital Expenditure Committee for the Group, ensuring high-impact investment decisions align with long-term business goals.

With a strong focus on technology, data, and AI-powered tools, you will drive smarter, faster, and more scalable procurement processes. Working closely with the Executive Board, you will co-create the Group’s procurement roadmap and deliver measurable value through strategic sourcing, vendor partnerships, and cost-efficient CapEx planning.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the Group’s non-grocery sourcing & procurement strategy, covering Real Estate, Automation, Last Mile, Technology, Hardware, Software, and Commodities.
  • Chair the Capital Expenditure Committee and oversee CapEx governance, alignment, and prioritization across the Group.
  • Embed the use of AI, digital procurement tools, and analytics to optimize procurement performance, identify opportunities, and automate decision-making.
  • Partner closely with the Executive Board to shape the Group’s long-term procurement roadmap and investment strategies.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop three high-performing teams within the Group Procurement function through deep-diving into mission critical topics
  • Build a high-impact supplier network that delivers quality, innovation, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure risk management, compliance, and sustainability are embedded in all procurement processes.
  • Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to future-proof procurement strategies.

What experience should you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in leadership and senior roles, ideally in high-growth, tech-enabled, or multi-market environments.
  • Proven experience managing complex CapEx projects and vendor ecosystems across diverse categories.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to drive negotiations at executive level.
  • Strong knowledge of AI and digital tools in procurement, including automation, analytics, and contract management systems.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution and delivery.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
