Head of Accounting
Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturing company that utilizes state-of-the-art, globally recognized equipment and technologies, along with the highest quality raw materials. We are currently looking for a Head of Accounting to join their team!
What will be your key responsibilities:
- Organizing and overseeing the activities of the accounting department, assigning tasks, motivating, and developing the team;
- Full management and execution of financial, tax, investment, asset, and cost accounting;
- Reviewing and optimizing accounting processes, organizing internal and external audits;
- Preparing financial reporting documents;
- Ensuring the preparation and submission of tax and statistical reports;
- Submitting reports and declarations to state institutions and company management;
- Ensuring accurate payroll accounting;
- Budget planning and management;
- Managing and controlling accounts receivable and payable;
- Advising the management team and providing proposals for innovative accounting solutions;
- Performing other tasks related to accounting and company finances.
What experience should you have:
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or other relevant field;
- At least 5 years of successful experience as a Chief Accountant/Accounting Manager or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing company;
- Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian financial and tax regulations;
- Strong understanding of accounting processes;
- Excellent computer skills;
- Proficiency in English;
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, accuracy, and responsibility;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
