Head of Group Accounting - Prague

Step into a leadership role as the Head of our group accounting team. Drive accurate financial reporting, optimize budgets, and collaborate across departments.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Coordination of the group audit (ensure effective communication between various departments and entities involved)
Preparation of consolidated financial statements (ensure compliance with IFRS)
Communication with auditors to complete financial reporting processes
To be owner of group accounting methodology (develop and maintain accounting policies for the whole group, ensure consistency to accounting standards across the organization)
Review of group balance sheet and monthly cash flow
Ongoing monitoring of intra-group transactions (transfer pricing rules...)
Regularly monitor the group's cash balances across all entities
Cooperation to compile information for external stakeholders, such as banks and leasing companies.
Cooperation on the various group projects.

What experience should you have:

University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience managing accounting teams across multiple countries, preferably in logistics or related industries
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, with good communication skills
Proficiency in international accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance
Proactive in identifying issues, proposing solutions, and driving process improvements
Experience with implementing and managing Treasury processes and tools (including cash-pooling) is welcome
