Head of Legal and Compliance
Our Client is a successful and growing company group in Lithuania expanding into new European markets. The company is operating within highly regulated market and is currently planning to hire:
Head of Legal & Compliance
What will be your key responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing legal and compliance strategy of the group
• Managing a team of legal and compliance professionals (up to 10)
• Overseeing gambling licensing and owning regulatory relationship with licensing authorities
• Managing new licensing processes and new market entry projects
• Ensuring AML/CFT, KYC, Responsible Gambling and other regulatory requirements (across 5 jurisdictions)
• Provide day-to-day legal advice on product development, advertising, data rights and customer terms across markets
• Overseeing corporate structure and governance
• Supervise corporate agreements, partnerships, guidelines and policies
• Legal involvement into M&A, investment, financing and other strategic projects
• Managing regulatory audits and disputes
• Partnering with external legal advisors in different jurisdictions
What experience should you have:
• 5+ years of experience in the in-house legal team or a law firm
• Experience in a complex corporate governance set-up
• Experience of or exposure to regulated markets
• Demonstrable exposure to multi-jurisdictional regulations
• Confidence and credibility to operate at senior management level and to influence across the business
• Team management experience
• Law degree
• Ability to travel
• Fluent in English and Lithuanian
