Health & Safety Specialist - Slavonski Brod

For Đuro Đaković Grupa, part of our Railway Division, we are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Specialist who will help drive workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and a strong safety culture across the organization.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and internal policies.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive and corrective measures.
Develop, implement, and update safety procedures, policies, and guidelines.
Organize and deliver health and safety training programs for employees.
Perform regular workplace inspections and internal audits.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventive actions.
Collaborate with external authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Monitor legislative developments and ensure their effective implementation within the company.
Promote a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization.

What experience should you have:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Safety, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Certified Occupational Safety Expert (Level II).
ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification is an advantage.
Experience delivering training and awareness programs.
Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to drive safety initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
