HR Director

CE INDUSTRIES is a dynamic industrial holding operating across Central and South-Eastern Europe. Through our diverse portfolio of companies, we invest in industrial manufacturing, logistics, energy, recycling, engineering and FMCG businesses.

As part of our continued growth and transformation, we are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead the people agenda for Beohemija and Kaumy SEE. This is a strategic leadership position with a direct impact on business performance, organizational development and long-term company success. 

Main Purpose of the Role

The HR Director is responsible for developing and executing the Human Resources strategy for Beohemija and Kaumy SEE, ensuring that people, organizational capabilities and HR processes effectively support business objectives, growth ambitions and operational excellence.

The role acts as a strategic business partner to the General Manager, senior leadership team and CE Industries Group HR, driving organizational development, leadership effectiveness, employee engagement and sustainable business performance. 


What will be your key responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and Group priorities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on people, leadership and organizational matters.
  • Lead organizational development and transformation initiatives supporting business growth and performance.
  • Drive HR projects focused on increasing organizational effectiveness and strengthening company capabilities. 

Talent, Performance & Organizational Development

  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment and succession planning processes.
  • Build talent pipelines and development programs for key positions.
  • Drive performance management and career development across the organization.
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities and support high-performing teams.
  • Identify critical know-how, key talent and retention risks and implement appropriate measures. 

Compensation, Benefits & HR Analytics

  • Manage compensation, bonus and benefits programs in line with market practice and Group standards.
  • Oversee payroll and employee remuneration processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor HR metrics, workforce trends and people-related business indicators.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support management decision-making.  

Employee Relations & Company Culture

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Lead employee engagement and employer branding initiatives.
  • Support managers in handling employee relations matters and sensitive people issues.
  • Promote effective internal communication and positive employee experience. 

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure full compliance with labor legislation, internal policies and corporate governance standards.
  • Monitor legislative developments and implement required changes in HR policies and procedures.
  • Support audits, certifications and compliance initiatives, including ESG, ISO and SMETA requirements.
  • Ensure confidentiality, data protection and responsible handling of employee information. 

HR Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop and mentor the HR team.
  • Set departmental priorities, objectives and performance expectations.
  • Manage the HR budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Prepare regular reports for local management and CE Industries Group. 


What experience should you have:

  • University degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Law, Economics or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR leadership experience in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor law and modern HR practices.
  • Proven experience in organizational development, change management and HR transformation.
  • Experience working within manufacturing, FMCG or multi-site organizations is a strong advantage.
  • Strong business partnering skills and the ability to work effectively with senior leaders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism and personal accountability.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
