ICT Administrator (A965)

Our partner is a well-established tech company with a global footprint, specializing in software solutions for meteorology and aviation. With over two decades of experience, they play a key role in building systems that help national meteorological services and air traffic control centers around the world make accurate, real-time decisions. Their work directly supports critical sectors like aviation safety, weather forecasting, and climate monitoring.

We are looking for an experienced ICT Administrator with strong DevOps/DevSecOps skills to manage and improve our server infrastructure, networking services, automation workflows, and virtualization environment. This role is essential for ensuring reliability, security, and high availability across our systems.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • administer and maintain Linux servers (Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL or similar)
  • perform system updates, patching, package management, and troubleshooting
  • manage filesystems, storage, RAID, LVM, and backup operations
  • monitor system health, logs, and performance metrics

Networking:

  • configure and maintain DNS, DHCP, NTP, VPN, VLANs, routing, and firewall services
  • troubleshoot issues across virtual and physical networks

DevOps / DevSecOps:

  • implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • manage infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
  • integrate security practices into CI/CD workflows
  • automate tasks to improve system reliability and efficiency
  • build and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)

Virtualization & Backup (Highly Desired):

  • manage and optimize Proxmox VE clusters
  • deploy and maintain high-availability virtualization setups
  • configure and operate Proxmox Backup Server (PBS)
  • work with QEMU/KVM, LXC, and related technologies

What experience should you have:

  • strong Linux administration experience
  • good understanding of OS internals and troubleshooting methodologies
  • solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, VLANs)
  • experience with DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD, Ansible, GitLab CI or similar)
  • familiarity with containerization (Docker/Podman); Kubernetes is a plus
  • production experience with Proxmox VE and PBS
