Inside Sales Executive - USA

Our client is an internationally operating company with headquarters in Germany, Europe. They have recently opened a hub in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC). For their project, with one of the world's leading suppliers of capital equipment and services to the packaging industry in the fields of folding cartons, corrugated cardboard, flexible materials, and label, we are looking on behalf of our client for an Inside Sales Executive (m/f/d) for the US market who is interested in pursuing a career in international sales and moving to/living in Charlotte, NC, starting ASAP.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Driving demand and sales for our client’s services / “after-sales-market” product portfolio into existing customers, based on a set sales target objective
  • Communicating via telephone (proactive outbound calling and managing inbound calls) and e-mail with existing customers of our client's project in the US-market territory
  • Being a critical account management interface between our client, the Area Service Managers of our client and their customers
  • Being in contact with key customer decision-makers such as Production Directors or Managers, Plant Managers, Managing Directors and Company Owners
  • Taking on full account management responsibilities in this position
  • Finding, developing, and securing orders for our client’s services products
  • Gathering and assessing new customer project requirements and information
  • Establishing and developing business relationships with the key relevant decision-making
  • Driving end-to-end sales cycle
  • Working closely with the Area Services Managers team members (who are based and working in the US) to manage your geography sales territory
  • Driving sales activity together and collaboratively with your team colleagues
  • Using a best-in-class CRM system to manage your work and all customer management and sales activities

What experience should you have:

  • Excellent communication skills in English (C2), written and spoken
  • Willing to work in a hybrid office/home office working model, with a mixture of office and remote working days
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Prior sales experience (preferred but not mandatory, as we will invest highly into your sales skills)
  • Strong proven customer service skills would be an advantage, including previous part-time / study jobs
  • Result driven with high interpersonal skills and focus on achieving the business objective
  • Strong general business and commercial “intellect”
  • Proficient in using a personal computer and Microsoft Office
  • Eligibility to work in the US
