IT Application Owner

We are looking for an IT Application Owner for our Partner, a leading American manufacturer with EMEA operations based in Hungary. As an industry leader in the manufacturing sector, our Partner specializes in creating innovative solutions that enhance fuel efficiency for aircraft and commercial transportation. Their product line includes cutting-edge technologies for the aerospace and transportation industries, such as high-performance parts, specialized fastening systems, durable structural components, and precision-crafted wheels.

In this role you will be the owner and application administrator of the Oracle EBS Reporting Applications, and act as a liaison to the Company's businesses and various customer groups in the support of Oracle Global Data Warehouse Applications.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Your tasks will be:

  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of strategies and policies around the maintenance, support, administration, and strategic usage of the reporting solution
  • Establish and maintain an effective working relationship across the organization
  • Coordinate and assist investigating and resolving support issues
  • Help the BPs and customers with their reporting needs and translate them into functional requirements
  • Participate in and support system upgrades, deployments, configuration, and technology expansions
  • Opportunity to lead small to large-scale projects working with stakeholders
  • Lead the discovery, planning and implementation of process improvements

What experience should you have:

You are the ideal candidate for this position, if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 2+ years of experience working in Information Technology

You might also have:

  • Prior experience in reporting and any BI tools, Data Warehousing, ETL processes
  • Experience with Orbit Analytics, Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL
  • Exposure or working knowledge of Oracle or other ERP modules
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, ability to interact with customers, IT professionals, and management
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
