Java Backend Developer (A790) - Bratislava (Hybrid)

What will be your key responsibilities:

Collaborate with analysts, architects, designers and other squad members in all the phases of the product development, especially during preparation of the technical designs
Implement code based on the technical design, prepare unit tests, fix bugs, perform code reviews and refactoring as needed
Take technical ownership of selected components or modules
Improve quality of code, prepare technology upgrades, remove technical debts
Analyse and resolve production incidents and issues (3rd level of technical support)

What experience should you have:

Proven experience as a backend developer with good knowledge of Java, Spring framework, RESTFUL APIs, and related technologies (at least 2 years of full-time development experience and at least 2 different projects / customers)
Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code
Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts, data structures and algorithms, design patterns, architectures
Ability to work within an agile team environment
Good communication skills, close cooperation with product owner, analysts, architects, designers and other squad members
Pragmatic and positive approach and ability to work with incomplete specifications and changing priorities
Taking ownership and responsibility to deliver working solutions
