Java Developer

Our partner is a subsidiary of a major Austrian insurance company, which provides its services to more than 3 million clients in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. With over 200 years of tradition, our partner offers a wide range of financial products from personal and business insurance, savings, investments to loans and much more.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • You will be collaborating on modern applications for insurance clients and contribute with your ideas to high value software solutions

What experience should you have:

  • Agile Software Development experience
  • Good understanding of OOP and OOD concepts
  • Understanding the concept of microservices
  • Java (preferred 16+)
  • Spring, Spring Boot (preferred 3.x.x)
  • SOAP and RESTful web services
  • REST principles
  • Git
  • Maven
  • SQL
  • AWS cloud platform
  • CI/CD overview
  • Docker
  • IntelliJ

Nice to Have

  • WebFlux
  • JPA, Hibernate
  • AWS storage systems (DynamoDB, S3Bucket)
  • Groovy, Spock
  • Postman
  • Scripting language, e.g. Bash, Python
  • Dynatrace, Splunk, CloudWatch
  • JIRA, Confluence
