Late Collection Specialist with Croatian language

We are looking for a Late Collection Specialist with Croatian language to join our DTSE SK team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing late collections, customer accounts, and related recovery processes while communicating with internal and external partners. The position offers the opportunity to work in an international environment and contribute to efficient and high-quality financial processes.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Charging and invoicing customers based on delivered requests
  • Posting of invoices in ERP system, initiation and overseeing of bill run process
  • Collection and payment allocation activities including accruals posting, netting, offsetting and write offs of receivables
  • Customer account reconciliation
  • Ensuring the process of judicial and enforcement of claims and special recovery regime( eg. bankruptcy)
  • Handling of assignment requests regarding late collection (methodical guidelines support, tenders, insolvency management, inheritance cases)
  • Solving suggestions from external entities (mandate companies, law firms,..)
  • Administration of judicial and non-court late collection of customers
  • Supporting with monthly / quarterly / yearly closing activities
  • Ensuring quality via internal controls processes (ICS)
  • Communication with the internal / external customers & 3rd parties including mandate companies & law firms
  • Work on other ad-hoc and regular requests/tasks
  • Participate in project work & process improvement initiatives
  • Independent performing of assigned tasks
  • Fosters teamwork and efficient collaboration within the team
  • Ability to cover and deputize within the team and across teams in the department
  • Support of team, Multiplicator and Supervisor

What experience should you have:

  • Education: Secondary school with school-leaving examination or University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Economy/Accounting
  • Relevant work experience (advantage)
  • Language knowledge: Croatian language (C1); English language (B2)
  • MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • ERP platform advanced (SAP or other)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Interest in knowledge development in Finance area
  • Ability to plan and organize work, independent identification of priorities
  • Responsibility and attention to details
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Ability to work under pressure
