LEAN Manager

What will be your key responsibilities:

Are you passionate about process optimization and continuous improvement? Do you have a knack for identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions? 

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lean Manager to lead a dynamic team a steer our Lean journey towards success. 


You will be responsible for:

- Designing, implementing and managing lean methodologies and practices,

- Leading the team to identify process bottlenecks, waste and inefficiencies, 

- Developing and implementing strategies to improve processes and reduce waste, 

- Roll out Lean Basic and Lean Advanced training programs,

- Conducting thorough process analysis and time studies to identify improvement opportunities,

- Establish Daily Performance Boards and a plant SQDCIP board to visualize the shop floor situation,

- Collaborating with department heads to develop and implement standardized work processes,

- Co-lead gemba walks with the plant manager, fostering collaboration and firsthand understanding of operational challenges, 

- Tracking and measuring the success of lean initiatives through key performance indicators (KPIs), 

- Understand work-in-progress (WIP), initiate, lead, and support WIP reduction projects, 

- Prepare Value Stream Analyses (VSA) to optimize processes,

- Develop Lean Process Audits (LPA) across all areas to ensure adherence to Lean principles and identify improvement opportunities,

- Continuously updating on industry best practices and new trends in lean management.

What experience should you have:

- Master's degree in Economics or a Technical degree,

- Minimum 2 years of experience in implementing lean methodologies and process improvement,

- Profound understanding of Lean tools and methods, particularly in Value Stream Analysis, Flow concepts, and Problem-Solving activities,

- Strong understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles,

- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams,

- English language at a communicative level, German a great advantage,

- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking to identify opportunities for improvement,

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively,

- Knowledge of project management tools and process mapping.
