Logistics Representative - German

Our client is a well-known international car manufacturer and its Customer Service Center is the central point of contact in Europe, caring for the needs of current and prospective customers (B2C and B2B). The company is currently expanding its logistics department and is seeking to hire a Logistics Representative (m/f/d) with German & English to support the team. The overall purpose of this role is to make sure that spare parts (after-sales) are available at all times and bottlenecks in the parts distribution are avoided.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Resolving escalated bottleneck parts inquiries for all of our client's business units
  • Appropriately using available resources and documenting business-related activities in the relevant systems (e.g. ticketing system)
  • Analysing and investigating logistic issues using your own knowledge, computer applications and other of our client's entities and external partners
  • Proactively and continuously monitoring workload to ensure timely investigation and response to bottleneck requests
  • Handling escalations in combination with the regular workload without detriment to own stress level

What experience should you have:

  • Business fluent level of German (C2) and fluent English (C1)
  • Experience in customer support/problem-solving business processes
  • Ability to understand the relationship between internal and external processes
  • Ability to understand interactions between demand and supply in the logistics chain
  • Open-minded to a diversity of cultures
  • Computer literacy
  • Acts as a Brand ambassador
