As the Expedition Manager you should have in-depth understanding of the distribution to the customers, the passion to drive it and the curiosity to optimize it. You will work closely with different teams to ensure consistency through the whole fulfillment process.

You should provide forward-thinking ideas to build and maintain a strong company presence.

Jaké budou vaše klíčové odpovědnosti:

Manage the timely delivery/expedition process of the company
Supervise the compliance with the set standard process
Communicate closely with all other Operations departments to prevent gaps, delays and other operational problems
Help solving customer complaints and cooperates with the customer line
Supervise the courier fleet and drivers
Manage and optimize holistically the fleet infrastructure (cars, fitouts, pdas etc.) and the resource consumption: this includes the vehicle acquisition/leasing/retiring process, the management of the insurance, the energy consumption, the consumables
Manage noise/pollution in regard to the environment
Monitor and optimize performance related indicators: delivery cost and speed, delays, wrong orders
Maintain the condition of the fleet
Supervise the overall traffic violation/accident/insurance situation; communicate with police; emphasis on driver safety
Plan future fleet needs, also in regard to E mobility
Be comfortable with IT and Software-supported delivery processes
Plan driver attendance with regard to the Sales forecast
Teamwork across departments, esp. Supply Chain, Expedition, IT and Finance

Jaké zkušenosti byste měli mít:

A logistical expert with extensive experience (min. 5 years) in the distribution area and managing an organisation around it
Someone who enjoys working in an innovative, ever-changing environment. Has ample energy for a demanding job and is able to transmit that energy to other people.
Someone who understands the time frame and fluidity of situations at a start-up, to be able to thrive on the energy and flow in such an environment
Is reliable and punctual
Can quickly learn and pick up new ways of working, creates an awareness of repeating problems and how to solve them
A multiplier of knowledge into future fulfillment centers around Czech
Delivery focused
Preferably experience in E-commerce, Retail and/or FMCG.
Strong team management and communication skills
Language skills: Czech, English at B2 or higher level
Ability to work with excel and other online applications
