NETWORK & FIREWALL EXPERT

Follow planning, management and execution of network & firewall related global projects.

Supporting the Marelli business needs by working closely with the new DigITal Governance Teams.

Scouting, exploring and proposing new cutting edge technologies to maintain and evolve Marelli global architectures and blueprint for:

• Local Area Network (LAN)
• Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN)
• Wide Area Network (WAN)
• Firewalls

• 5+ years’ experience in an infrastructure team in an enterprise company with multiple regions/countries visibility and with experience in coordinating external suppliers
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Project management: tracking and management on the implementation of complex network enterprise projects
• Network: proven and solid knowledge of routing protocols (static, dynamic, PBR) and TCP/IP stack, proven and solid experience in local area network (LAN)/campus solution design and delivery, knowledge of SDWAN/overlay solutions, proven experience in network transformation project/delivery (LAN, datacenter, WAN)
• Firewall: proven and solid knowledge of firewalling features (policies, interfaces, zoning, routing, VPN IPSEC) proven and solid knowledge of Fortigate, Fortimanager and Fortianalyzer technology, knowledge of other firewalling technologies an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Service Management: leads and supervises the service provider, and keeps track of service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs. Analyze problems or needs and prioritize them
