What will be your key responsibilities:

The Network Operations Center Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the company's network infrastructure. This includes ensuring network availability, performance, and security for internal and external customers. The Network Operations Center Engineer will work closely with other teams, such as the IT, security and development teams, to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including connectivity, routing, and security problems.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
  • Work with other teams, such as IT, security, and development, to identify and resolve issues.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network security measures.
  • Monitor and analyze network usage and performance to identify potential issues and suggest improvements.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support.

What experience should you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (prefered)
  • 3+ years of experience in a network operations center or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
  • Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark, Snort, and Nagios.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Willingness to work during US Business hours
