Operations Engineer Databases

What will you do

You’ll be the guardian of our Microsoft SQL Servers and other database systems, but that’s just the beginning. Your Linux skills (think Red Hat, Ubuntu) will help us automate and streamline operations using Ansible. You’ll also bring a coding mindset to the table—GitHub, Jira sprints, and CI/CD pipelines won’t scare you.

Your tasks will include:

• Daily support and maintenance of database systems (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Linux server administration and automation with Ansible
• Incident and change management
• Proactive service improvement and process automation
• Collaboration with system engineers and other teams on projects

We are looking for these competencies:

• Solid experience with MS SQL databases
• Linux administration skills (Red Hat, Ubuntu)
• Experience with Ansible automation
• Familiarity with GitHub workflows and Jira sprints
• Advanced knowledge of T-SQL
• Service-oriented mindset and proactivity
• Fluent English and good communication skills

What is beneficial:

• Experience with Azure, PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of PowerShell or Bash scripting
• Understanding of CI/CD principles
• Experience with PowerShell
