Partnership and Alliances Manager

This role is responsible for the maintenance of Arriello’s third party (TP) relationships, this includes all vendors and contractors. Ensuring an ongoing oversight to the TP’s and ensuring an ongoing mutual effective relationship.

Will lead a project team within Arriello to review our current third parties and ensure that from a business and compliance perspective Arriello are working with the right strategic partners and vendors and maintaining good working relationships.

Part of the vendor selection for new projects, this individual will combine compliance with business strategy to ensure they guide P&P and the technical teams to the right decisions when it comes to Arriello vendors.

To work closely as required with the technical lead, assigned project manager, pricing and proposals (P&P), business development, HR and the vendor lead – A&QA.

Keeping oversight to risk-based decisions made within A&QA on Arriello TP risk management program and working with A&QA and the technical teams to handle any issues that may arise alongside the VM Lead – A&QA.

Ensure/Manage periodic reports to TP’s to ensure they maintain oversight as required and hosting vendor meetings alongside the PM/technical team, to ensure ongoing relationships.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Project Role
  • To lead Arriello in a full review of the TP preferred list and ensure that strategical and business, as well as a compliance view is taken to all our preferred vendors
  • Identify where TP’s can be in-house and work with HR on a strategic plan
  • Identify where TP’s can be used for multiple clients without impacting business continuity in the future
  • Identify if any TP non-conformities to contract, raising these with and work with the relevant departments
  • Work with the contracts manager and A&QA to identify the need for an updated contract
  • To identify key business/strategical partners to which the technical team can use for proposals without notifying the vendor relationships manager
  • Work with IT to ensure that the vendor is compliant with GDPR
  • To start building relationships with our identified TPs to which Arriello wish to align within its long-term business plan strategically and commercially
  • Build the proposed vendor list to allow for proposals to be more quickly responded too, creating a vision for local PV territory development

Vendor Selection
  • Evaluate TPs proposed by P&P to A&QA for strategical and business requirements to ensure Arriello are working with aligned businesses who will reflect the high standards of Arriello
  • Support P&P and the technical teams to identify the right strategical and business partners for Arriello – by the identification through the TP list or by support with new TP’s.

Arriello Vendor Management
  • Works closely with the Vendor Lead – A&QA to support any identified confirmed risks
  • Raises any non-conformity/compliance issues to the A&QA Manager for audit schedule change consideration and escalation point
  • Support Arriello with decision making on handling non-conformities of vendors. This person would be responsible for documenting escalation of vendors and ensuring the business and compliance decision is made when it comes to non-conformities/confirmed risks of vendors.
  • Co-ordinate with PM/P&P for any vendor issues and if required support termination agreement.
  • Introduce themselves, alongside the PM as a point of contact
  • Have regular meetings alongside the PM/technical team in regard to any issues and in regard to feedback/oversight
  • Set up a new process with technical team/PM and ensure the distribution of oversight/feedback questionnaires to vendors and work with PM/technical team on the responses

  • Collaborate with the local PV technical team on consistent high-level delivery of service
  • Introduce TP KPI’s
  • Relationship manager to ensure this high-level delivery and oversight of output from KPI’s
  • Raise deviations as required and be the deviation SME
  • Retrospective due diligence review
  • Oversight of all external non-conformities for vendors

  • Responsible to lead the Project role as described in this Job description.
  • Responsible for the management of vendor relationships within Arriello.
  • Responsible for the A&QA reputation throughout Arriello.
  • Work closely with the A&QA Manager and VM Lead to ensure that vendor management links directly with Auditing within Arriello.
  • Active participation in improving the company vendor selection, onboarding, qualification and management procedures and system.
  • Manage own tasks in a timely way as defined by the project plan and the business needs escalating need for resource to A&QA Manager.

Other administrative activities
  • Ensure that standards and other applicable regulation are followed by processes developed in the company, identify needs for improvement of current processes.
  • Support with update to relevant vendor processes.
  • Ensure proper data retention and archiving of all documents used in the A&QA department.

What experience should you have:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Quality Management, Vendor Management or sufficient knowledge of Arriello Quality management systems and processes.
  • University degree.
  • Ability to work in partnership with multiple departments with limited day-to-day supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple/complex tasks and challenging timelines.
  • Understanding of contract management.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent English, both oral and written.
  • Excellent communication skills .
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
