Planning and Analytics Manager

We're seeking a planning and analytics manager, who will join our client's team. Our client is a company focused on retail store development.

  • Planning and Analytics Managers are fully responsible for production forecasting, stock control, and reporting related to existing projects. 
  • As part of the role, we expect Planning and Analytics Manager to provide comprehensive analysis of variety of project related things, including sustainability reports, bulding the tools in excel or other relevant programs helping team to work more effectively. As part of the job, extensive RFP process analysis and data consolidation is involved.
  • Based on forecasts and usage analysis, he/she is able to recommend an optimal volume of production, to keep production most efficient and warehouse stock as low as possible while having enough stock to satisfy our customers’ needs.
  • We expect our Planning and Analytics Managers to be highly organized and systematic, attentive to detail, good communicators, excellent planners, but also able to balance the needs of the client, see the bigger picture of the company, and be able to cooperate with number of roles (Account Managers, Production Managers, Roll-Out Managers, Logistics and Warehouse.)

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Planning – In coordination with business team and based on system creates a demand material resource plan
  • Analytics – Responsible for regular client and project analytics, including trends, post-calculations, margin analysis and savings identification
  • Supervise process compliance – Regularly checking standard project flow and alerts any issues related to the project leadimes, timings and production.
  • Development and maintenance of business supportive tools – Works closely with all the team members, to develop tools enabling efficient and effective collaboration, including mitigation of any errors in the process (Examples of such tools: Complex order sheets, fixture calculators, CO2 layout calculator). If needed, ensures smooth collaboration with other departments to deliver the solutions
  • Systems – Works closely with cross functional departments to implement and maintain systems utilized within the team to enable efficient execution of the business-related processes
  • Suppliers – Responsible for timely communication and coordination of suppliers for assigned items, typically more related to material orders
  • Reporting – Create periodic and ad-hoc reports regarding stock value, movement, and performing data analysis to create deliverables for internal and client use
  • Tracking item usage – Calculating average usage periodically and updating files such as accessory calculators and order sheets (for us both internally and by the client)
  • Forecasting and Batch Proposals – Preparing new production proposals based on Inventory Management, Forecasting and Consumption Analysis

What experience should you have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning, assembly, inventory management, alternatively in project management, logistics or business administration
  • Previous experience from logistics distribution centers is a plus (automotive, electronics, FMCG etc.)
  • Familiar with setting up of warehouse processes
  • Outstanding organizational and planning skills (ability to juggle multiple tasks), great attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to quickly become a trusted and respected member of the team.
  • Able to learn fast specifics about our industry and client’s business and brands
  • Strong in the logic of ERP system and capacity to quickly learn and operate internal ERP software.
  • Expert level of MS Excel is a must
  • Previous ERP experience is a must
  • Upper-intermediate English is a must
