In our current environment, Product Specialists also act as a Business Owner within their domains, or Products. This role goes beyond technology improvements, requiring a comprehensive problem-solving approach. Product Specialist must:
- Collect a lot of information efficiently.
- Identify and prioritize key issues.
- Develop and implement effective solutions, which may include software, operational, or process changes.
- Create and document solutions, ensuring Product feasibility and effectiveness.
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication and alignment (OPS, IT, Fleet, HR, etc.).
- Lead the rollout of new initiatives and evaluate their success based on measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Vision
- Define product goals and not only align them with company strategy, but also actively create goals that help company to be succesfull on the market.
- Prioritize initiatives to maximize benefits and lower risks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Operations, Business Development, and Sales teams to gather requirements and ensure product solutions meet business needs.
Product & Solution Management
- Manage the creation and optimization of solutions related to fleet management, data security, and courier app delivery processes.
- Maintain product backlogs and roadmaps to guide the development process.
- Drive non-technical solutions, such as operational improvements and process design, where applicable.
Performance Monitoring & Feedback
- Track product and solution performance using data-driven methods. In case of Revenue stream ownership this means PnL supervising.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive enhancements.
