Production Director

Understanding and overseeing the current production model

Responsible for AM’s production facility in Bustehrad and lead a current small team of direct reports: 1 production engineer, 2 x technicians, designer engineering experts and outsource team

Maintaining and developing strategic partnerships with companies that we can outsource production capacity to façade & structure, contract for electromechanical systems.

Develop Product Execution plans, cash flow and procurement plans.

Working together with the head of engineering team on product development.

Track production against its schedule, budget, quality and against phase gate review objectives, reporting status to management and customer on a regular basis, and executive staff on an as needed basis

Optimizing costs: deciding between local vs strategic partners vs small local players vs own fabrication vs internal capacity

Future production facility (approx. 3 years plan)

 Define (redefine) requirements, complete feasibility study, lead the delivery of build, production equipment, startup and plan production capacity roll out

 New facility shall include following fabrication facility for electrical panels, R&D, site for EdgeDC / CoreDC, site for StackDC

 Replication of the above model to other geographies

 Management:

 Involved in hiring, mentoring, managing, as the team reporting to you will be expanding

 Part of the senior management team: prepare periodic management reports and/or and presentations

Participate in Project Proposal stage to ensure the Production Scope of Work is properly defined and production risks are mitigated

 Previous experience with production (preferably in steel structures engineering, mechanical engineering, welding assemblies also possible)

 Automation industry background; automotive industry: nice to have

 Integration with electrical and mechanical systems (practical experience, not necessarily engineering)

 Visionaire by nature, builder and doer

 Background of procurement, contract administration, and suppliers.

 Knowledge of AutoCAD, and Revit

Czech, Slovak: native/as native; English: fluent
