Program steering for Olympus program

As Program steering Manager, you will be responsible for the program operations. In a Chief of Operation role, you will drive Olympus program execution and operations. Your role is to ensure smooth operations and a successful Go-Live in January 2027. Therefor you will lead the program office team. The role includes the responsibility for accurate, actual program reporting and planning. You will resolve conflicts and manage back-to-green tasks forces.

Your role involves identification, analysis, and evaluation of gaps/ white spots. You will create and implement measures that ensure successful program Go-Live. You will support program lead in organizing and steering Olympus program. With your team you create the base of program steering. This includes full transparency on Go-Live status & measure status at any time.  

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Create next level of program steering, including planning, reporting and program operations
  • Lead program office including functions program planning, reporting and program operations
  • Prepare and run program status meetings and Stakeholder meetings
  • Ensure program change management and communications
  • Create transparency on status of all projects, dependencies and measures
  • Check Business readiness status of all entities and organization continuously.
  • Create and implement adequate measures in case of plan deviations.
  • Coordinate local project teams in our Segments and NatCos to ensure successful Go-Live
  • Provide regular progress reporting. Escalate issues to the central project and local management 

What experience should you have:

  • 7+ years’ experience conducting projects and PMO.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English language
  • Ability to effectively present and demonstrate project progress and results to business partners and on management level
  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end process and system integration projects
  • Strong leadership skills in resource planning, budgeting, and team coordination for complex projects/ rollout activities
  • In-depth understanding of business process design, solution design, and technical build phases
  • Knowledge of Business Transformation programs, SAP, S4 Hana transitions and Business Readiness enablement
  • Expertise in similar programs in terms of size, complexity and organizational environment
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and gap analysis capabilities
