Python Software Test Engineer (API)

• Reviewing requirement and design specifications.
• Creating functional and non-functional test cases using manual and automated QA techniques.
• Managing quality assurance delivery across multiple functional and non-functional areas with defined scope, objectives, deliverables, and risks.
• Tracking and reporting quantitative and qualitative testing results/metrics in an auditable format.
• Ensuring testing is conducted in a timely, repeatable, and effective manner.
• Logging and reporting defects.

• Manual testing techniques – advanced
• Automation test scripting techniques - advanced
• Python – advanced
• REST API - advanced

Tools

• Test management & Defect logging tool (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc) – advanced
• Version control tool (GIT) - basics
• CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps…) – basics
• Linux, Windows server – basics

Other

• Ability to query database (SQL, MySQL, TimescaleDB)
• Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS)
• Agile software methodology (e.g. SCRUM, SAFe)
•  ISTQB / ISEB foundation certificate – Nice to have
