Risk and Dependency Management for Olympus program

As Risk & Dependency Manager, you will be responsible for the Risk & Dependency Management of Olympus program. Olympus has a complex program environment and a high number of parallel projects. Risk & Dependency Management analysis Risks and dependencies, evaluates them and initiates adequate measures. Risks may occur within the program or to outside parties and projects. Dependencies are given within program organization and rollout given as well as in combination of parallel projects and Olympus program. Aim of this role and function is to create the required transparency, completeness and measures to manage dependencies and risk.

Your role involves identification, analysis, evaluation and measure creation. You support program steering with these tasks and report directly to program lead. Your risk and dependency log creates full transparency on program situation at any time.  

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Develop program risk and dependency approach and management to next level
  • Identify, analyze and evaluate risks and dependencies
  • Create adequate measures.
  • Initiate measures to manage dependencies and mitigate risks
  • Coordinate local Risk & Dependency Manager in our Segments and NatCos to create the program overview and transparency as well as a shared Risk, dependency and measure log.
  • Provide regular progress reporting. Escalate issues to the central project and local management

What experience should you have:

  • 7+ years’ experience conducting risk analysis and dependency management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English language
  • Ability to effectively present and demonstrate project progress and results to business partners and on management level
  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end process and system integration projects
  • Strong leadership skills in resource planning, budgeting, and team coordination for complex projects/ rollout activities
  • In-depth understanding of business process design, solution design, and technical build phases
  • Knowledge of SAP, S4 Hana transitions and implementation projects
  • Expertise in Risk Management and dependency management
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and gap analysis capabilities
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and within an intercultural environment
