Sales Director

The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and a deep understanding of corporate innovation, startup ecosystems, and emerging technologies.

What will be your key responsibilities:

The core qualities of a Sales Director

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in corporate innovation, startup ecosystems, or emerging technologies. 
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
  • Experience selling to large corporates, with a deep understanding of their decision-making processes and procurement cycles. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Language English and German on strong business niveau is a must. 
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen. 
  • Wide high-profile network ideally in the DACH region and FMCG, mobility and/or construction and manufacturing sector. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

What we need from a Sales Director 

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to target large corporates who could benefit from our corporate venture building service. 
  • Work closely with our marketing team to generate leads.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target companies comfortably communicating at the VP and C-level of large organizations. 
  • Understand the client's business objectives, identify gaps in their current offerings, and propose solutions that leverage our corporate venture building service. 
  • Develop customized proposals and presentations that articulate the value proposition of our service in close collaboration with internal product owners and method leads. . 
  • Work closely with the delivery team to ensure successful execution of sold projects. 
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements to increase visibility and generate leads.
