What will be your key responsibilities:

As a Sales Manager/Head of KAMs, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our key accounts and spearheading the strategic growth of our business in Slovakia. You will have the opportunity to build and develop a high-performing team while collaborating closely with cross-functional departments to achieve our sales objectives and strengthen Lindt's market position.

The scope for a role may seem wide, but this is a starting point and our plan is to grow the team and later on to narrow down the role, however, this role requires a hands-on approach. 


  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of Key Account Managers, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to drive individual and collective success.
  • Strategic Business Development: Identify new growth opportunities, develop and execute sales strategies, and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in the FMCG sector.
  • Key Account Management: Foster and nurture relationships with key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction, maximizing sales revenue, and leveraging opportunities for business expansion.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis, monitor industry trends, and identify competitive insights to drive informed decision-making and optimize sales performance.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Collaborate with the finance department to develop accurate sales forecasts and manage budget allocations effectively.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and operations, to align strategies, streamline processes, and enhance overall business performance.
  • Performance Evaluation: Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to achieve targets and continuously improve results.

What experience should you have:


  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong background in key account management, is a MUST
  • English language knowledge: B2+/C1 level, fluent communication is a must.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to think strategically, identify market opportunities, and  with the ability to formulate and lead toward the execution
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams, or ability to foster a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and leverage insights to make informed business decisions. 
  • Results Orientation: Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and delivering outstanding business performance. Familiar with sales KPIs management.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapt to changing market conditions, and embrace new challenges.

You will be reporting to Sales Director of Slovakia/Czech Republic.
