 Core qualifications of Salesforce Marketing and Commerce Cloud Developer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • Proficient experience in implementing Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C solutions.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C Storefront Reference Architecture.
  • Extensive development knowledge specifically around server-side and client-side JavaScript including other web-related technologies such as JSON, jQuery, Nodejs, HTML, CSS, web analytics, XML, SOAP/REST, and open-source packages/libraries.
  • Possess knowledge and expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform architecture and design.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and SOQL.
  • Experience with Salesforce CC administration, including configuration, workflow, process builder, and validation rules.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English.

What do we need from Salesforce Marketing and Commerce Cloud Developer

  • Serve as the Salesforce Commerce Cloud expert with deep experience in front-end and back-end development on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud development best practices in developing eCommerce solutions.
  • Perform technical analysis, design, configuration, and implementation support for system integrations and Salesforce Commerce Cloud customizations.
  • Work with various stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other custom code.
  • Resolve issues, ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on processes, code, and configurations.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and emerging technologies to provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and standards are followed.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and other team members as needed.
