SAP HCM - Payroll Consultant (A1158) - Remote

We are looking for a Senior SAP HCM Consultant specializing in Payroll (PY) to support the configuration and optimization of payroll processes across selected countries, with a primary focus on Germany. This is a senior-level to architectural role with a capacity of 0.5–1.0 FTE, offering the opportunity to work on complex SAP HCM Payroll processes.

You will be responsible for configuring and adjusting payroll calculations, working with retroactive accounting, off-cycle payments, and tax and social insurance rules. You will also ensure the proper integration of Payroll processes with FI and verify the results of payroll processing.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Configure and adjust SAP HCM Payroll for selected countries
Create and modify Schemas and PCRs for payroll calculations
Configure wage types and Payroll Control Record
Configure tax and social insurance rules, especially for Germany
Process retroactive calculations and off-cycle payments
Post Payroll results to Financial Accounting (FI)
Work with results in the Payroll Cluster (CU/R2)
Handle year-end closing, reconciliation, and verification of payroll results and payslips

What experience should you have:

Senior-level experience with SAP HCM Payroll (PY)
Advanced knowledge of Schemas and PCRs configuration
Experience with configuring wage types and Payroll Control Record
Strong understanding of payroll processes, including taxation, social insurance, and retroactive calculations
Experience with Payroll and FI integration
Knowledge of German payroll
Ability to operate at a senior to architectural level
